Potatoes 500 gms
Cashewnuts 100 gms

Melam chilly powder 2 tsp
Melam turmeric powder ½ tsp
Melam garam masala ½ tsp

Method of Preparation

Boil potatoes, peel and mash finely. Mix little salt. Chop few cashewnuts. Prepare a mixture of chopped cashewnuts, few kismis, chopped green chillies, coriander leaves and paneer. Prepare Koftha with mashed potatoes and stuff it with mixture of chopped ingredients. Slice onions, chop ginger, garlic, green chillies and tomatoes. Heat butter in a pan. Add sliced onions and fry to light brown and remove. Add ginger, green chillies and sauté well. Add tomatoes, Melam chilly powder, Melam turmeric powder and fry well. Grind fried onions and few cashewnuts and add to the masala. Add little water and bring to boil.

Heat oil in a pan. Roll the Koftas in maida and deep fry to light brown. Drain and keep aside. Add cream and Melam garam masala powder to the masala. Add salt. Add kofthas and remove. Garnish with coriander leaves.
